Unfortunately the Kids Classes didn't fill up enough at the Educational Alliance. Hopefully we'll try again in the Spring!

Classes

All classes are taught in the holistic teaching tradition of Krishnamacharya, which considers the whole person in its approach to yoga, and are designed to encourage linking with something deeper within oneself. Via the use of breathing techniques, dynamic and static asana-s, sound, and visualization, we aim to relax an often over-taxed system while making space for new potentials to develop physically and mentally.

Becca Broughton’s introduction to yoga was in 2005 in her hometown of Richmond, VA. She has been teaching children and adults since 2008 and continues her studies with her mentor Danielle Tarantola and the guidance of Kausthub Desikachar. She is currently completing Yoga Foundation’s teacher training program through the Krishnamacharya Healing and Yoga Foundation.
